Job summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pricing Executive to join our team in the freight forwarding industry. As a Pricing Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry and market trends.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement pricing strategies and policies to maximize profitability while ensuring competitiveness in the freight forwarding market.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demands to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to gather relevant data and insights for pricing decisions.
Conduct pricing analysis and modeling to evaluate pricing strategies, identify cost drivers, and recommend appropriate pricing adjustments.
Monitor and manage pricing structures, discounts, and promotions to optimize revenue and profitability.
Prepare and present pricing proposals and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Support sales teams in negotiating pricing agreements and contracts with customers and suppliers.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of pricing data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics that may impact pricing strategies.
Drive process improvements related to pricing operations and systems.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, logistics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in pricing, revenue management, or a related analytical role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding operations, pricing structures, and market dynamics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data sets.
Proficient in using pricing analysis tools and software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate pricing strategies and recommendations.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and pricing software is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
