We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Reconciliation Processor**

**Principal responsibilities**:

- Experienced in Banking & related portfolio accounting & reconciliations.
- Responsible for all Service Delivery deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with HSBC standards and Statutory requirements.

Qualification:
**Reconciliations skills**

- Prepare account reconciliations in accordance with Finance Instruction Manual (FIM) and applicable SOX requirements. Ensure completeness of assigned accounts within the required deadline.
- Process journal entries as appropriate for booking of charges and interests.
- Review source system for accuracy/completeness and ensure open reconciling items are researched in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate.
- Monitor and thoroughly analyse activity within assigned accounts.
- Rigorously follow up with departments for the settlement of un-reconciled transactions to keep the aging under control and escalate as per chaser or escalation matrix.
- Recognize and identify trends on related outstanding items and expedite issues to management.
- Maintain and manage Reconciliation detail confidentially due to the nature of activity being reconciled.
- Assist/lead efforts to improve processes including automation.
- Continue rigor around Client Money/CASS requirements and return client money within the timeframe.

- Proven ability to work to strict deadlines, under pressure and be a team player.
- Keen to learn/ask questions/progress.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
- Experience of working with Finance Department with good track record / leading MNC/ corporate
- Expert in Excel (especially V-lookup, H-lookup, etc.)
- Flexible in shift timings and all days of the week with rotational week off days.
- Prior Experience in Banking Reconciliation is preferred.

**Academic Qualifications**

- B. Com/M. Com/MBA (Finance) with 0 - 5 years of experience
