We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Reconciliation Processor

Principal responsibilities:

• Experienced in Banking & related portfolio accounting & reconciliations.
• Responsible for all Service Delivery deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with HSBC standards and Statutory requirements.
• Has fair understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated competence in their application

Qualification:

Reconciliations skills

• Prepare account reconciliations in accordance with Finance Instruction Manual (FIM) and applicable SOX requirements. Ensure completeness of assigned accounts within the required deadline.
• Process journal entries as appropriate for booking of charges and interests.
• Review source system for accuracy/completeness and ensure open reconciling items are researched in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate.
• Monitor and thoroughly analyse activity within assigned accounts.
• Rigorously follow up with departments for the settlement of un-reconciled transactions to keep the aging under control and escalate as per chaser or escalation matrix.
• Recognize and identify trends on related outstanding items and expedite issues to management.
• Maintain and manage Reconciliation detail confidentially due to the nature of activity being reconciled.
• Assist/lead efforts to improve processes including automation.
• Continue rigor around Client Money/CASS requirements and return client money within the timeframe.

• Experience of working with Finance Department with good track record / leading MNC/ corporate
• Hands on Experience using MS Office applications.
• Expert in Excel (especially V-lookup, H-lookup, etc.)
• Flexible in shift timings and all days of the week with rotational week off days.
• Prior Experience in Banking Reconciliation is preferred.

Academic Qualifications

• B. Com/M. Com/MBA (Finance) with 0 - 5 years of experience
