**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Receptionists are often the first point of contact for visitors to a company. They should be courteous and professional.
- Answering and routing phone calls: Receptionists are responsible for answering and routing phone calls to the right person.
- Maintaining calendars: Receptionists may maintain calendars for the office and their coworkers.
- Scheduling meetings: Receptionists may schedule meetings with clients and vendors.
- Managing communications: Receptionists may direct client and visitor communications to the right person.
- Maintaining visitor logs: Receptionists may maintain visitor logs, including details about the person and the purpose of their visit.
- Preparing access cards: Receptionists may prepare access cards for visitors.
- Collecting and distributing packages: Receptionists may collect packages, sort them, and distribute them to the right person.
- Keeping track of office supplies: Receptionists may keep track of office supplies and place orders when needed.
- Maintaining the reception area: Receptionists may maintain the reception area and provide refreshments
