This role is accountable for overseeing the Business Services activities delivered through the outsourced transactional center in the Direct/Primary insurance sector.
The primary responsibilities of the role would be
Lead all aspects of day-to-day operational activities (outsourced) related to Business Services
First point of contact, on Operational issues for Regional Ops. Managers
Review of Bus Service Risk Controls and evidencing to support Self Assessments and work with onshore/outsourced teams to ensure effectiveness
Manage and support the ongoing transition of activities from onshore to outsourcing partner
Support the external and internal audit requirements pertaining to business services
Ensure compliance to defined governance activities eg; monthly, quarterly and half yearly performance meetings
Continuously identify process improvement opportunities and work with wider teams to support implementation of changes
Review and maintain Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with Regional Practice Lead
Additional responsibilities would be
Collaborate with Underwriting Assistants to implement an effective and efficient process
Support UAT planning and execution
Implement regional/global project deployments
Facilitate trainings and access management
Support the yearly Business Continuity exercise
Adhoc reporting requirements
Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration
Minimum 2 years of experience in (re)/insurance or 3 years of experience from other domains
Understanding of Governance and Controls topics
Strong Operational oversight and Analytical skills
Strong business communication and cross-cultural skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrate agility with changes in task and priorities in a multifaceted environment
Eager to learn and proactive participation
Strong customer focus and service orientation
Strong presentation skill
