**Position Summary**:
L V Prasad College of Media Studies is looking for a dependable and proactive Office Boy cum Office Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative functions of the college. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and smooth running of the office environment, assisting faculty and staff with administrative tasks, and providing essential support during college events and activities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic educational setting and is committed to keeping things organized.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all office spaces, including classrooms, faculty rooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff, faculty, and visitors as required.
- Support the administrative team by assisting with document handling, photocopying, printing, and filing.
- Deliver and collect internal and external correspondence, documents, and packages.
- Help organize classrooms and event spaces for meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- Ensure that office supplies, stationery, and kitchen items are adequately stocked, reporting when items are low.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and ensure proper distribution to the relevant departments or individuals.
- Assist with the upkeep of the kitchen, ensuring it is clean and well-maintained.
- Provide support during college events, functions, and special activities as needed.
- Help organize guest visits and ensure all necessary arrangements are made.
- Assist faculty and staff with miscellaneous office-related tasks, as required.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in an office assistant or similar role is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment, such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and visitors.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and work as part of a team.
- Basic computer knowledge (e.g., MS Office) is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; any additional qualifications related to office administration or hospitality are a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
