About Us:
Sree Guruvayoor Tiffin is a reputed restaurant in Thrissur known for serving delicious South Indian dishes prepared with authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. We are expanding with another outlet and are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook South Indian and other tiffin items (e.g., dosa, idli, vada, upma, etc.) with consistent quality and presentation.
Plan and manage daily kitchen operations efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with management for purchases.
Train and supervise kitchen assistants and junior staff as needed.
Ensure timely preparation of orders for dine-in and takeaway customers.
Coordinate with management to develop new dishes and improve menu offerings.
**Requirements**:
2 to 4 years of proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a reputed South Indian restaurant.
Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and tiffin preparation.
Ability to manage multiple orders and work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.
**Benefits**:
Competitive salary: ₹35,000 - ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and skill).
