We are a dedicated primary care practice based in the USA, focused on providing high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Referral Coordinator with a clinical background to join our team. This role will be essential in ensuring the seamless coordination of outbound clinical referrals, ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate care while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and manage outbound clinical referrals for patients to appropriate specialists, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Review patient records to assess referral needs based on clinical indications and treatment plans.
- Communicate with specialists, facilities, and insurance companies to verify referral information and ensure proper authorization.
- Provide patients with referral details, including appointment scheduling and instructions, while offering excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referrals, including tracking status and completion.
- Work closely with the primary care team to ensure proper documentation and timely execution of referrals.
- Assist with managing referral-related issues, such as delays, insurance coverage problems, or rescheduling.
- Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and resolve any outstanding referral-related concerns.
- Adhere to all compliance, privacy, and confidentiality guidelines regarding patient health information.

**Qualifications**:

- Clinical background is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare, with prior experience in a referral coordination role strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance processes, including pre-authorization, verification, and referral management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and external specialists.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare-related software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (required)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Work Location: Remote
