We're seeking a seasoned professional who can be a strategic partner to the founder and take ownership of our entire online presence and growth.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as the Head of Online Marketing at YourHappyLife. Be a core senior team member of a rapidly scaling startup We're looking for an exceptional e-commerce leader who has successfully scaled D2C brands from ground up. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on strategist with deep expertise in P&L management, performance marketing, conversion optimization, and marketplace growth. The role involves overseeing performance marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, and online marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Primary Objectives:

  • Drive complete P&L ownership and growth
  • Scale customer acquisition across all digital channels
  • Build and optimize customer retention strategies
  • Establish operational excellence across website, marketplaces, and digital platforms

Key Responsibilities

P&L Leadership:

  • Own and drive complete e-commerce P&L responsibility
  • Develop comprehensive growth strategies across all digital channels
  • Set, track, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Drive pricing strategy and promotional calendar
  • Build and manage high-performing teams across multiple functions

Customer Acquisition, Performance Marketing & Marketplace Management:

  • Lead performance marketing initiatives across Meta, Google, and YouTube
  • Structure and optimize campaigns for maximum ROAS
  • Develop and execute creative strategy for performance marketing
  • Collaborate with Head of Brand & Creative on creative direction
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets exceeding 1 crore monthly
  • Drive creative strategy for performance marketing
  • Manage and grow presence across marketplaces (Amazon, others)

Customer Experience & Retention:

  • Drive customer retention strategies through cohort analysis
  • Own user journey optimization across all touchpoints
  • Lead the customer experience team
  • Implement and optimize loyalty programs
  • Analyse and improve customer lifetime value

Technical Optimisation:

  • Drive SEO strategy and organic traffic growth
  • Manage marketplace presence, especially Amazon
  • Lead website optimization and conversion rate improvements
  • Implement A/B testing frameworks
  • Optimize tech stack and analytics infrastructure

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in e-commerce with at least 3 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling D2C brands from 0-1 and 1-100
  • Deep expertise in:
  • Performance marketing (Meta, Google, YouTube)
  • Creative strategy for performance campaigns
  • Shopify platform and e-commerce analytics
  • A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
  • Amazon marketplace and AMS
  • SEO and organic growth strategies
  • Quick commerce and marketplace management
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Consumer psychology and purchase behaviour
  • Performance creative requirements
  • Data analytics and attribution modelling
  • Team building and management

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and data visualization tools
  • Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem and plugins
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI principles
  • Understanding of video and static creative requirements
