Description What You’ll Do Manage and develop a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sell and promote the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Build working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manage escalation. Conduct weekly progress meetings with sales team. Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines. Required Skills/Experience What You’ll Bring Your passion, knowledge, and customer-centricity will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. We also look for: 16+ years of experience in selling enterprise software solutions or services to Mid-Market customers across verticals such as Industrial Manufacturing, Cooperative Banks, ITES, Pharma, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Logistics, Construction, Packaged and Consumer Goods. Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent over achievement against targets. Ideal candidate needs to understand technology (Database, Middleware, Data Security, Analytics) requirements of organizations and articulate the Oracle Value Prop to provide On-premise or Cloud Solutions to help customer achieve their digitalization objectives. Past experience of having sold Oracle / Microsoft / Open Source Technology offerings and Oracle / Azure / AWS Cloud Certification is desirable. Validated understanding of the IT industry Cloud landscape and market. Proficiencies in building value proposition and positioning strong proposals. People Management experience.
