Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee the sales efforts of our plastics and polymers division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the plastics industry, with proven success in driving revenue growth, developing client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals. This role involves managing both existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities in the plastics and polymers market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy Development :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets in the Technical Textile, Industrial Brush, Oral care brush, Household Brush.
- Identify new business opportunities and target key industries such as automotive, packaging, construction, electronics, and consumer goods.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity to drive business growth.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders in the Yarn & Bristle industry.
- Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs effectively.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership and Development :
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to sales team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Market Analysis and Reporting :
- Monitor sales performance, trends, and competitor activities to adjust strategies as necessary.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts for senior management.
- Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales effectiveness.
- Sales Process Management :
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are aligned with company goals.
- Product Knowledge and Training :
- Ensure a deep understanding of the Synthetic (Polymers), Mono Filamnets products, including specifications, applications, and benefits.
- Provide technical expertise and training to both internal sales teams and customers regarding product applications.
- Budget and Financial Management :
- Assist in setting the sales department budget and ensure that sales operations remain within budget.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage pricing strategies, discounts, and profit margins.
