Role Overview:
The IT Sales Head will be responsible for driving IT sales across a region or pan-India. This leadership role involves achieving sales targets, managing profitability, and delivering custom IT solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT sales, business development, and a strong understanding of system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership in IT Sales:
Lead and drive IT sales across a region or pan-India, focusing on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional results.
Inspire and manage the sales team to meet and exceed performance objectives.
Business Development & P&L Management:
Take full ownership of business development activities and P&L targets.
Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue, profitability, and market share.
Lead Generation:
Create and manage multiple lead generation channels.
Drive initiatives to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Sales of IT Products & Solutions:
Sell a diverse portfolio of IT products and solutions, including:
Hardware: Laptops, end-user computing devices, network equipment, AV solutions.
Software: Microsoft licenses, antivirus software, and other standard tools.
Custom IT Solutions: Design tailored solutions, including managed services and managed Internet Leased Line (ILL).
Collaboration with System Integrators:
Leverage experience working with or coming from a System Integrator background to provide a comprehensive suite of IT services and solutions.
Build and strengthen relationships with technology partners and vendors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
Proven track record of leading IT sales for a region or pan-India.
Extensive experience in business development and P&L management.
Strong expertise in selling both IT hardware and software solutions.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads and develop diverse lead generation channels.
Hands-on experience in designing and delivering custom IT solutions for clients, particularly in managed services and connectivity.
