Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and execute the global sales strategy for cybersecurity products and services.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and results-driven performance.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities and optimize sales efforts.
- Revenue Growth and Management:
- Set and manage sales targets, goals, and KPIs in alignment with company objectives.
- Track, report, and forecast sales performance and revenue growth on a regular basis.
- Take responsibility for the overall sales performance and achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to drive optimal sales outcomes.
- Client Relationship and Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their cybersecurity needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Identify new market segments and drive expansion into new geographic regions.
- Lead high-level negotiations and close complex sales deals, ensuring maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Oversee the implementation of sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to streamline operations and improve sales productivity.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and refine sales tactics.
- Report directly to the CEO and provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline health, and performance metrics.
- Team Development and Culture:
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent for the sales organization, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-first culture within the sales team, promoting accountability and results.
- Lead the development and execution of sales training programs to continuously enhance team skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Cybersecurity, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the cybersecurity industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing large, complex sales teams.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including key technologies, trends, and market demands.
- Strong experience in enterprise sales, account management, and large deal negotiations.
- Knowledge of the sales lifecycle and familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies (e.g., solution selling, consultative selling).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and meet aggressive sales targets.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding, with experience managing budgets and forecasting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
