Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the global sales strategy for cybersecurity products and services.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and results-driven performance.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities and optimize sales efforts.
  • Revenue Growth and Management:
  • Set and manage sales targets, goals, and KPIs in alignment with company objectives.
  • Track, report, and forecast sales performance and revenue growth on a regular basis.
  • Take responsibility for the overall sales performance and achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to drive optimal sales outcomes.
  • Client Relationship and Business Development:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their cybersecurity needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Identify new market segments and drive expansion into new geographic regions.
  • Lead high-level negotiations and close complex sales deals, ensuring maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Operations and Reporting:
  • Oversee the implementation of sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to streamline operations and improve sales productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and refine sales tactics.
  • Report directly to the CEO and provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline health, and performance metrics.
  • Team Development and Culture:
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent for the sales organization, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-first culture within the sales team, promoting accountability and results.
  • Lead the development and execution of sales training programs to continuously enhance team skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Cybersecurity, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the cybersecurity industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing large, complex sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including key technologies, trends, and market demands.
  • Strong experience in enterprise sales, account management, and large deal negotiations.
  • Knowledge of the sales lifecycle and familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies (e.g., solution selling, consultative selling).
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and meet aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding, with experience managing budgets and forecasting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
