About the Role:


As the Sales Head, you will be responsible for leading and driving the sales and efforts for our pharmaceutical products. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and achieve revenue targets. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and a passion for sales.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans, including territory management, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Team Leadership
  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular feedback.


Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, and distributors.
  • Understand customer needs and preferences, and tailor sales approaches accordingly.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.

Product Promotion

  • Develop and implement effective product promotion and marketing strategies.
  • Organize and participate in sales conferences, product launches, and other promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling marketing materials and campaigns.

Sales Operations

  • Oversee sales operations, including sales force automation, CRM systems, and reporting.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant sales and marketing regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Science, MBA in Sales & Marketing
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful sales teams.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers and team members.
