Cybersecurity Sales Director Job Description

Our company is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Sales Director to lead our sales strategy for cybersecurity products and services in India. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key enterprise clients, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced sales professionals who want to make a meaningful impact on the growth of our business. As a Cybersecurity Sales Director, you will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity products and services in India.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers, to promote cybersecurity solutions.
  3. Owning the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  4. Conducting market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborating with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating strong technical acumen to articulate complex solutions effectively.
  6. Working closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, preferably with a cybersecurity OEM or system integrator.

Key skills include:

  • Strong technical acumen with in-depth understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including NGFWs, SIEM, cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection, SASE and zero trust frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
