About this role:

This is a leadership position that oversees day-to-day operations, drives process improvements, and delivers high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. As a people leader, focus on developing, mentoring, and managing a high-performance team, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning to support business goals and client satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure diligent performance of assigned activities as a checker.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for processes.
  • Nurture team members' growth and development.
  • Understand Bank policies and procedures, adhering to their requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with overseas branches to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Learn system functions and adhere to controls in place.
  • Support overseas branches in resolving operational incidents and reporting.
  • Offer suggestions to improve/streamline operational processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing loan operations team, ensuring effective workload distribution, performance management, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional service quality to enhance the function's reputation and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries promptly.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in managing Loan Operations.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Extensive experience in Loan Products, static data maintenance processes, and customer data management.
  • Familiarity with various system applications used for lending.
  • Hands-on experience in managing stakeholders, governance, and toll gates.
  • Flexible to work in shifts.
  • Exposure to India-related regulatory guidelines and financial regulations.
  • Graduate and/or Post Graduate degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.
  • Detailed-oriented approach to work.
