This critical role oversees the comprehensive management of mortgage origination processes, encompassing pre-closing and post-closing review activities.

Key aspects include junior loan officer supervision, performance evaluations, training programs, as well as hands-on experience with federal, state, and industry compliance regulations such as RESPA/TRID review.

Responsibilities:
  1. Direct the daily operations of junior loan officers by providing guidance on attendance, training needs, recruitment, hiring, and ongoing performance assessments.
  2. Ensure a thorough understanding and practical application of regulatory requirements like RESPA/TRID review and other industry standards to prevent non-compliance.
  3. Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders including title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders to ensure seamless closings and maximize customer satisfaction.
  4. Enhance the overall customer experience through involvement in the application process, overseeing mortgage loan closings, and expediting post-closing procedures while maintaining quality control standards.
  5. Guarantee the long-term value and quality of residential mortgage loans by adhering to lender underwriting guidelines, ensuring regulatory adherence, and continually monitoring performance metrics for improvement opportunities.
  6. Implement coaching and training initiatives for existing staff, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize decision-making across the organization.
