Recycling Operations Senior Technical Program Manager

The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional stakeholder groups to drive best-in-class material recovery programs across India. They will effectively analyze and present data to enable optimal decisions on operational & material recovery strategies.

This role encompasses the full spectrum of end-of-use programs for electronic materials, covering project implementation plans, new process reviews, milestone approval, program status updates, supplier validation, specialty recycler development, and research into new material recovery techniques.

Ongoing collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as well as a deep understanding of extractive metallurgy and advanced material recovery methods. The successful candidate will possess excellent presentation skills, the ability to work globally with international teams, and proficiency in leading multiple efforts simultaneously.

A strong educational background in an industrial, metallurgical, chemical engineering, or environmental discipline is required, accompanied by at least 8 years of experience in e-recycling, metals recycling/refining/smelting, or manufacturing. Experience with sampling, analysis, and working with external labs is also highly valued.

Beyond the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate should have advanced project management skills, including coordinating programs end-to-end, and an excellent understanding of common size reduction and materials separation techniques. They should be able to work cross-functionally with business partners and customers to solve problems and create value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement project plans for recycling and material recovery developments
  • Lead new process reviews and approve milestones and success criteria
  • Coordinate program reviews and status updates on top issues to all levels of management
  • Validate supplier recovery targets
  • Develop and qualify specialty recyclers
  • Research new material recovery techniques

Requirements:

  • BS or MS/PhD degree in an industrial, metallurgical, chemical engineering, or environmental related discipline
  • 8+ years of program management experience in e-recycling, metals recycling/refining/smelting, or manufacturing
  • Experience with extractive metallurgy and advanced material recovery techniques
  • Excellent understanding of common size reduction and materials separation techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Project Management skills including coordinating programs end to end
  • Experience with sampling, analysis, and working with external labs
  • Ability to work cross functionally with business partners and customers to solve problems and create value
  • Excellent presentation skills (Keynote desired)
  • Experience with India's recycling and waste regulations
  • Proficient at leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capability including working with international teams
