Disaster Recovery Expert

Job Overview:

Our organization seeks a seasoned Disaster Recovery Expert to oversee and support the implementation of enterprise IT disaster recovery and crisis management processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and executing business continuity plans, risk assessments, and application strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business continuity plans and procedures, reviewing and revising existing plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain enterprise disaster recovery plans, risk assessments, and technical strategies.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unforeseen events such as natural disasters and security breaches.
  • Drive alignment of IT organizational priorities with key business objectives.
  • Identify and implement recovery operations and methods to enable the organization to function at reduced or partial capacity in the event of infrastructure damage or destruction.
  • Facilitate practice drills for plan execution and track program metrics to demonstrate activities and progress.
  • Maintain business continuity and crisis management tools, coordinating with health, safety, and security staff and local authorities.
  • Support response coordination and communication during business disruptions, performing other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and standards.
