Compensation Analyst Role

  • We are seeking an experienced compensation professional to join our international incentive compensation team in a key location.
  • This position will play a crucial role in the sales commission processing in our monthly close cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payment of commissions.
  • You will be responsible for producing high-quality audits, participating in data quality reviews, and providing support in reporting data to drive business insights.
  • This role will involve extensive collaboration with global sales compensation teams in various regions, fostering strong relationships and driving cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production and completion of commissions close audits with high accuracy, adhering to established procedures.
  • Run necessary audit reports and reviews, taking required actions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare commission payment files for local incentive compensation teams, facilitating seamless execution.
  • Support report generation, analysis, and builds from multiple sources, driving business insights and informing strategic decisions.
  • Participate in process improvements, documentation, and procedures related to close cycle activities, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and execute assigned projects as needed, applying creative problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in automated sales commissions systems, setup, and operation (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, Oracle EIM, etc.).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills: conditional and nested IF, Index/Match, COUNTIF, SUMIF, vlookup, pivot tables, etc.
  • Proficiency in Python, Google Sheets, and Salesforce, with ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
  • Adaptable, willing to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • High degree of motivation, flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
