The Director of Talent Acquisition role involves overseeing the entire recruitment process, encompassing various functions and regions within the insurance organization. This entails strategic planning, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing job offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment Execution: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for roles across functions (sales, claims, operations, underwriting, etc.)
- Strategic Sourcing: Utilize job portals (e.g., Naukri, Shine), social media, and employee referrals to identify top talent
- Candidate Management: Screen, shortlist, and schedule interviews in coordination with hiring managers
Talent Planning:
- Collaborate with business and HR teams to understand current and future talent needs
- Maintain a pipeline of high-potential candidates for key roles like front-line sales agents/advisors
Vendor Management:
- Engage with external recruitment vendors and consultants to optimize recruitment processes
- Monitor vendor performance metrics (CV quality, time-to-hire, cost)
Candidate Experience:
- Provide timely and professional communication with candidates
- Create a seamless candidate journey from sourcing to onboarding
- Manage offer rollouts, documentation, and handover to HR operations
Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
- 5–8 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the BFSI or insurance sector
