Acquisition Specialist Job Description

Role Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Acquisition Specialist to drive our recruitment efforts forward. This individual will play a vital role in sourcing and attracting top talent, aligning with our clients' specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers/Stakeholders to understand job requirements and develop effective strategies for candidate acquisition.
  • Utilize job boards, search platforms, and other tools to identify potential candidates.
  • Analyze candidate profiles, resumes, and online presence to assess alignment with job requirements.
  • Conduct initial outreach to potential candidates via messaging platforms, emails, or other communication channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for various roles and departments.
  • Screen potential candidates through phone or preliminary interviews to evaluate their suitability and interest.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team to align sourcing strategies with overall talent acquisition goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative recruitment techniques.
  • Provide regular updates to Hiring Managers/Stakeholders and the Recruitment team on candidate sourcing progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
  • Experience in IT recruitment or a related field.
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, with a strong ability to build positive relationships and produce quality results.
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Google Docs, Calendar, and Gmail or similar software.
  • Proven ability to contribute in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's success.
