The Senior Key Account Manager position involves managing and expanding key client relationships within a specific region and industry sector.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies, as well as strong market insight and strategic relationship-building skills to drive business growth and satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong partnerships with key clients in the enterprise sector, serving as the primary point of contact and developing a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement tailored account plans to identify opportunities for growth, upselling, and cross-selling, aligning client goals with company offerings.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by effectively presenting and selling the company's solutions to key clients, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and acquiring new enterprise clients.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
- CUSTOMER ADVOCACY: Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, gathering feedback and working with internal teams to enhance company offerings and service delivery.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the enterprise sector, using this knowledge to develop effective sales strategies.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring favorable terms while protecting company interests.
Requirements:
- At least 12-15 years of experience in enterprise software/smart manufacturing/industrial automation solutions selling with Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, Metal or process industries.
- Proven track record in enterprise sales, key account management, or business development.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise market and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Good industry connections.
- Excellent networking and influencing skills to secure business.
