Job Overview

This role involves leading a team of professionals, utilizing excellent interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration and goal achievement.

  1. A key requirement is the ability to manage a team of 5-7 individuals, ensuring effective communication, delegation, and problem-solving.
  2. Familiarity with RTA operations in listed and unlisted sectors is essential, encompassing knowledge of SLAs, timelines, and Master circulars issued by SEBI.
  3. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all types of equity corporate actions, including dividends, preference shares, debentures, bonus issues, private placements, and rights issues.
  4. A strong understanding of unlisted equity admission processes, including SME/Main board IPO, is required.
  5. The jobholder will manage AGM/EGM/EVOTING/Postal Ballot activities.
  6. Responsibilities include handling audits: internal audit, SEBI audit, system audit, etc.
  7. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise and the capability to automate and integrate activities using software, with support from IT.
  8. Candidate must be able to coordinate independently with clients to resolve corporate action-related queries and admission matters efficiently.
  9. Closely coordinating with depositories (NSDL/CDSL) for corporate actions and admission processes, as well as with SEBI, is also a key responsibility.
  10. The incumbent must continually update their job-specific knowledge and apply it effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The applicant should have a commerce background, with good knowledge of RTA operations. A post-graduation degree is desirable.

Minimum 6-7 years' experience working with RTA/depository participant/share broking firms is necessary.
