Job Title: Senior Business Development Specialist – Technology Leasing
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned business development professional to lead our technology leasing efforts in the southern region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and improving our business by acquiring new customers for equipment leasing and financing.
- Develop and improve business in the southern region through new customer acquisition for equipment leasing & financing.
- Generate leads by liaising with OEMs, vendors, banks, and NBFCs to offer equipment renting solutions.
- Build relationships with CFOs, CIOs, and decision-makers at large corporates.
- Consultative selling – understand renting requirements and enterprise financial goals to tailor solutions.
- Advise on pricing and structure/products in line with customer financial goals.
- Identify opportunities for leasing at large corporates in India and acquire new clients.
- Evangelize the merits of fair market value lease across multiple asset classes for clients.
- Analyse financial statements like balance sheets and P&L to find business opportunities.
- Deal structuring/pricing across various equipment types.
- Participate in rate contracts, RFPs, RFQs, and technical discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Key Functional Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and internal selling skills.
- Effective organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Understanding of residuals and pricing methodology.
- Understanding financial statements and ability to structure transactions.
Education/Qualification: MBA preferable, corporate sales experience in large accounts preferred.
Work Experience: 12-15 years plus experience in leasing, both captive and third-party experience.
