Technical Sales Specialist

At Zendesk, we are seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive customer success and technical excellence in our sales cycle. Your role will involve close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers to bridge the technical gap between Account Executives and prospects. You will be responsible for managing the prime technical relationship with our customers to drive customer happiness, proactively delivering technical information both onsite, online, and via telephone. Successful candidates will have experience mapping RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record in planning, overseeing, and conducting customer pilots and Proof of Concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Technical relationship management with prospects to drive customer success
- Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers to deliver technical solutions
- Proactive delivery of technical information to customers
- 5+ years of Mid Market/Enterprise software pre-sales or solutions sales experience
- Experience in web/scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SaaS applications
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and solution scoping abilities
