Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at HUBER+SUHNER. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and tracking opportunities in the RAILCOMM market, establishing strong relationships with customer technical teams, and understanding customer requirements to propose commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and track opportunities in the RAILCOMM market
  • Establish strong relationships with customer technical teams
  • Understand customer requirements and propose commercially viable solutions
  • Advise customers on improvements based on our knowledge of cable and connectivity solutions
  • Coordinate with global Application Engineering teams when required
  • Support in preparing offers, answering technical questions, and handling customer orders
  • Promote HUBER+SUHNER as the preferred supplier for RAILCOMM products
  • Support in meeting assigned sales targets
  • Maintain highest standards of pre and post-sales technical support
  • Build good working relationships with colleagues from other subsidiaries

Requirements

  • Good market knowledge and awareness of latest trends in Railway Communication (Trackside and Onboard)
  • Profound knowledge of engineering methods
  • Solution-oriented, organized, independent, and structured way of working
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with customers
  • Experience working in international, intercultural, and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Responsibility, reliability, accuracy, analytical, and independent way of working
  • Proactive with the necessary interest and willingness to learn new things
  • Ability to work in international, intercultural, and cross-functional teams
