Job Title:

Senior Marine Operations Leader

Job Description:

As a Senior Marine Operations Leader, you will oversee the smooth operation of vessels and marine fleets. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include supervising Port Captains, managing budgets, conducting performance assessments, and implementing employee development programs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain marine fleet operational policies, including Masters standing orders (MSO), standard operating procedures (SOP), and safe working procedures (SWP).

Additionally, you will ensure that all vessels and crews are prepared for Transport Canada inspections and certifications. You will also implement and monitor Safety Management Systems to prevent workplace incidents.

In the event of an incident, you will conduct investigations to determine root causes and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
