Rider Fleet Manager

About the Job:

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for sourcing, training, and managing the performance of our rider fleet. Your primary focus will be on recruitment, onboarding, service quality, and operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective rider sourcing strategies using multiple recruitment channels.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, background checks, and selection processes to ensure the best candidates are selected.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, to minimize time-to-hire and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive training on platform usage, safety protocols, customer service, and company policies to ensure riders are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor rider performance, identify gaps, and develop coaching plans to improve performance and reduce turnover.
  • Track recruitment and performance metrics, analyze trends, and optimize strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations to protect both our riders and the community.
  • Act as a point of contact for rider queries, grievances, and operational concerns to provide timely support and resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with riders, community partners, and stakeholders to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Assist in fleet expansion and workforce planning based on business needs to drive growth and success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in training, coaching, or performance management in logistics, transportation, or customer service.
  • Proven ability to source and manage a large rider fleet effectively, with a track record of improved performance and reduced turnover.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and delivery management platforms to drive informed decision-making.
  • Ability to travel locally and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Experience handling and de-escalating challenging situations, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
