Program Management Overview

The Leave of Absence Program Manager oversees and optimizes global leave programs, ensuring compliance, consistency, and a supportive experience for employees.

  • Manages the entire leave process, including medical, parental, personal, military, and other global leaves.
  • Evaluates and optimizes leave policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and an enhanced employee experience.
  • Oversees accommodations, including ergonomic and disability-related requests, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employees and managers navigating leave or accommodation requests.
  • Collaborates with Legal, HR Business Partners, and the HR Operations team to ensure policies and workflows are compliant and employee-friendly.
  • Partners with Payroll and HRIS systems to ensure accurate and timely pay for employees on leave.
  • Conducts thorough reviews and analyses of existing leave processing to identify areas for standardization and improvement.
  • Develops and maintains a standard operating procedure manual to document existing processes and develop training materials.
  • Tracks and analyzes relevant data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging practices in leave management.

• Own and manage the entire leave of absence process

• Evaluate and optimize global leave of absence policies and processes

• Oversee the accommodations process, including ergonomic and disability-related requests

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers navigating leave or accommodation requests

• Collaborate effectively with Legal, HR Business Partners, and the HR Operations team

• Partner with Payroll and HRIS systems to ensure accurate and timely pay for employees on leave

• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of existing leave processing

• Develop and maintain a standard operating procedure manual
