Lead Reconciliation and Settlements Function

The purpose of this role is to lead a high-performing Reconciliation and Settlements function, ensuring operational excellence within standardized turnaround times.

  • Manage and supervise related activities, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Process payments and transactions within pre-set deadlines, upholding Service Level Agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify key opportunities in processes, technology, and human interfaces.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing plans to capitalize on identified opportunities and measure success.
  • Ensuring operational risk is effectively managed and addressed in all aspects of the payment and settlement function.
  • Leading projects related to payments and reconciliation, guaranteeing timely completion and achievement of objectives.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, preferably in international payment gateways, fintech, acquiring settlement, and banks.
  • Proven leader with predominant experience in merchant's settlement and reconciliation of payment gateway transactions, refunds, cash management, and nostro reconciliation.
  • Minimum graduation from a recognized university, preferred choice from the accounting background (B.COM).
