Job Description:
The Customer Order Management Representative plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless order processing and customer satisfaction. This individual is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts throughout the entire order life cycle, from initial setup to order fulfillment and resolution of complex inquiries.
- Act as the single-point-of-contact for customers, parts distribution centers, and manufacturing plants to process and fulfill orders.
- Provide accurate documentation and maintain continuous communication with customers throughout the process.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries through extensive research and detailed understanding of Cummins processes, systems, and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, along with 2+ years of experience in customer order management, account management, or supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in Supply Chain/Order Management
- Team-focused and passionate about customer support
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
