Oracle HCM Functional Consultant Job Description

  • This role requires a highly skilled professional to lead the implementation of Oracle HCM across all modules globally.
  • The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end deployment, customization, integration, and testing of Oracle HCM modules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage the implementation/updating/modification process for all Oracle HCM modules.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure the success of the implementation and resolve technical or business-related issues.
  • System Configuration & Customization: Oversee the configuration and customization of Oracle HCM modules according to business needs and best practices.
  • Training, Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and deliver training materials and user guides. Plan pilots, testing, provide end-user training and support for HR professionals and other business users to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Change Management & Digital Adoption: Support organizational change management activities on tech adoption of HR and internal communication products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of tech products post-implementation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with stakeholders to implement enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
  • 12-15+ years of experience with experience in implementing HR Systems / Support Oracle HCM or other HRMS platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations (across multiple modules).
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with a deep understanding of HR technology solutions and shared services function.
  • Experience in setting up HR analytics and insights function.
Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle HCM implementation and Project Management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM integration with other HR and enterprise systems.
  • High proficiency in excel, macro, and other report automation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools across HR lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI tools.
  • Familiarity with data migration, testing, and validation within the SuccessFactors environment.
