Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced business development professional to drive the success of multiple engagements across different jurisdictions.
- This client-facing role involves growing practice and revenue generation through a book of business, attracting and developing top talent, and effective communication with staff and clients.
- The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate and address client concerns, escalate problems as they arise, initiate cross-selling business to other practices, and promote new ideas and business & tax solutions for extended services to existing clients.
- They will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry regulation, maintaining competency through continuing education and certifications, providing performance feedback and training to supervised staff members, and detailed review and analysis of Tax returns.
- Additionally, this role involves interacting directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc., and performing, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive the success of multiple engagements across different jurisdictions.
- Grow practice and revenue generation through a book of business.

- Effective communication with staff and clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulation and maintain competency through continuing education and certifications.

- Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc.
- Perform, document, and summarize research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a business development or similar role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing strong relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay up-to-date on industry regulation and maintain competency through continuing education and certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
