Business Development Professional

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced business development professional to drive the success of multiple engagements across different jurisdictions.
  • This client-facing role involves growing practice and revenue generation through a book of business, attracting and developing top talent, and effective communication with staff and clients.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate and address client concerns, escalate problems as they arise, initiate cross-selling business to other practices, and promote new ideas and business & tax solutions for extended services to existing clients.
  • They will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry regulation, maintaining competency through continuing education and certifications, providing performance feedback and training to supervised staff members, and detailed review and analysis of Tax returns.
  • Additionally, this role involves interacting directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc., and performing, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the success of multiple engagements across different jurisdictions.
  • Grow practice and revenue generation through a book of business.

  • Effective communication with staff and clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulation and maintain competency through continuing education and certifications.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a business development or similar role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on industry regulation and maintain competency through continuing education and certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
