What you will be responsible for:

  • Performing and managing business valuation engagements for financial reporting (US GAAP) and tax reporting for various industries.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, driven, and in-depth subject matter knowledge in valuations related to business combinations/purchase price allocation, goodwill impairments, gift and estate valuation, 409A/stock compensation (ASC 718), reviewing of 3rd party valuations, assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data, valuation of equity, debt, derivatives etc., litigation arising out of shareholder disputes, financial modelling, understanding of US tax laws, financial reporting and regulatory compliance under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • CFA, CA, MBA etc., CFA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • Proven hands-on experience, ability and interest to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously, demonstrated proficiency in financial management software or willingness to learn, 8+ years' experience in business valuation field, ability to think laterally and analytically, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills, sound independent judgement and great ethical values.
