We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Specialist to spearhead the commercialization of a cutting-edge biotech platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in research labs, diagnostics companies, and biotech R&D.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic partnerships and marketing initiatives.
  • Build strong connections with diagnostic companies for assay proteins and control reagents.
  • Collaborate with biotech startups for custom constructs and rapid prototyping needs.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns: scientific content, digital outreach, conferences/webinars.
  • Manage proposals, quotations, and negotiations with a focus on return on investment.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and our R&D team for feedback-driven innovation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in life sciences BD/marketing (reagents, CRO/CDMO, diagnostics, life-science tools).
  • Bachelor's degree in Biotech, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology. MBA/PGDM is a plus.
  • Demonstrated scientific understanding and ability to engage researchers and biotech founders.
  • Hands-on experience with sales/marketing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM software or equivalents.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where you build markets from scratch.
