
Channel Sales Strategist

The role of Channel Sales Strategist plays a pivotal part in driving value through channels by owning the channel map for assigned regions. This entails setting targets for the region and ensuring qualification, appointment, and onboarding of Channel Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identifying novel partnerships and developing strategic relationships with existing partners to foster growth.
2. Designing and communicating partner strategies for managing and developing selected partners.
3. Monitoring Channel performance and proactively working to nurture these partnerships for consistent business results.
4. Building and maintaining close relationships with partners to establish long-term alignments and opportunities.
5. Collaborating with partners to formulate monthly business plans and executing them effectively.
6. Developing capability-building plans with partners, including training resources and coverage programs like demand generation and customer-focused initiatives with the marketing team.
7. Ensuring adherence to Channel Policy and regularly suggesting offers and incentive schemes for partners.
8. Conducting regular reviews and timely claim submissions to monitor partner health.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years of sales experience and 1+ year in channel partner handling, preferably within the industry (3D Printing Technology, Product Distribution, CNC machine, education technology product distribution).
2. Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication at multiple levels of seniority, ability to adapt to changing environments, and proactive behavior within scope and beyond.
