Job Title: Business Development Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Leader to lead our team of sales professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies that meet or exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their investment needs and objectives, and providing personalized solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Identify new business opportunities within assigned client clusters and expand the client base through proactive sales efforts.
  4. Set and achieve sales targets for assigned client clusters, monitoring sales performance, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities to optimize sales strategies.
  5. Provide market intelligence and insights to clients and internal teams for informed decision-making.
  6. Analyze reports related to sales performance, client engagement, and other relevant metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management on key account activities.
Requirements
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team of sales professionals.
  • Acquisition of Demat & Trading Accounts: Ability to acquire demat and trading accounts from new and existing clients.
  • Investment Products: Knowledge of investment products such as mutual funds, PMS, AIF, and structured products.
  • Equity Sales: Strong equity sales skills with experience in selling financial products.
