Job Overview

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the organization's human resources systems, including hire to retire data management and process improvements. They will also oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, tax and labor compliance, vendor management, people management, and employee relations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR systems from hire to retire data management, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
  • Oversee accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors on system enhancements, validate full and final settlements for resigned employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, including tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with inter-departments to address and resolve compliance-related discrepancies.
  • Optimize services delivery from vendors by minimizing cost and risk.
  • Proactively ensure optimal utilization of available resources to support business-as-usual and global HR projects.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll queries and issues promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance (preferably exposure to APAC countries).
  • Handled a team of 5-10 people for 5+ years in previous roles.
  • Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday or Oracle.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, locally and globally.
  • Experience in a global (matrix) organization preferred.
  • Effective collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
