Senior Human Resources Director

The Senior Human Resources Director will lead the HR function for our manufacturing sites. This role provides strategic HR business partnership to site leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partner – Develop and implement employee relations and human resource programs and practices in alignment with business objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding – Identify manpower requirements, plan budget, hiring and ensure a best-in-class onboarding experience for new joiners.
  • HR Manpower Planning and Budgeting – Assist in budget planning of all HR items, review actual spend vis-à-vis approved budgets and identify opportunities for savings.
  • Performance Management – Drive continual performance management, annual compensation reviews and training for line managers.
  • Talent Management – Implement periodic talent management reviews, succession plans and development/retention plans for critical roles.
  • Learning & Development – Promote a culture of learning and high performance, identify training needs and implement training programs.
  • HR Compliance & Statutory Obligations – Ensure compliance with applicable statutory laws, maintain records and represent the organization at various associations.
  • Labour Management – Maintain harmonious and productive IR environment, ensure statutory compliances are followed by manpower vendors and resolve employee grievances in a timely manner.
  • Employee Engagement & Wellbeing – Implement initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement and lead wellbeing initiatives at the site.
  • HR Operations – Supervise and review all HR operations pertaining to employee life cycle to streamline and bring efficiency.

Educational Qualifications:

MBA HR or Master's in Human Resource Management.

Experience:

  • 15+ years' experience handling HR function, with manufacturing set-up experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical):

  • Human Resources Operations, Industrial Relations.
  • Understanding of labour legislations.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent management skills with ability to influence management.
  • Excellent Analytical ability.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, especially senior level stakeholders.
