Job Description

As a Senior Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our AS/400 systems. This includes troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, as well as providing guidance and training to junior team members.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in COBOL, RPG programming, DB2 databases, and CL commands is required. Experience with IBM AS/400 (COBOL, RPG III, RPGILE, SQLILE, CLLE) is essential.
  • Application Knowledge: Understanding of the business purpose of the AS400 application and the overall processes/functions it supports is necessary.
  • System Architecture: Familiarity with the system architecture diagram of the AS400 application, including its interface mechanisms with upstream and downstream systems, is required.
  • Environment Details: Documenting various AS400 environments (e.g., Production, Pre-prod, Test, Dev), OS levels, and database versions is crucial.
