Job Title: Strategic Risk Management Leader

Role Overview:

As a Strategic Risk Management Leader, you will play a critical role in driving the company's risk management strategy and ensuring the effective implementation of controls to mitigate risks.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex risk management initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead risk assessments and develop recommendations for mitigating control deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize risks.
  • Mentor and guide junior associates in risk management practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Risk Management or Control Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and readiness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Financial Services industry and/or risk & control domains covering operational risk, controls testing/evaluation, compliance, internal audit, risk management etc.
  • Proven experience in leading control testing efforts, mentoring junior associates and driving results.
  • Ability to credibly challenge, conduct tough conversations and effectively communicate with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives.
