Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage data-driven insights to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies across various credit risk areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and engineering, to foster innovation and drive business outcomes.
  • Manage complex projects and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Analyze loss trends and evaluate new data sources to inform risk decisioning and optimize revenue streams.
  • Develop and maintain risk scorecards that leverage both internal and external performance data to inform underwriting and account management decisions.
  • Presentation development: distill complex analysis into actionable insights and articulate risk strategies to senior leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in quantitative fields such as engineering, statistics, math, or economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, database management, and programming (e.g., Python, R) within the finance or analytics industry.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams of analysts.
  • Familiarity with non-traditional data sources (e.g., social media) is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to build models and drive business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
