Job Title: Fleet Operations Specialist

A Fleet Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a fleet, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

This role involves managing documentation, liaising with clients, and supporting the team in achieving operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • To monitor vessels under time charter and coordinate with masters to meet terms and conditions of charter party.
  • To collect cargo documents from vessels at load/discharge ports.
  • To evaluate and analyze vessel performance in charterers' performance format.
  • To prepare freight invoices and demurrage claims as per charter party and follow up for timely payment.
  • To ensure deck and engine logs are sent to charterers within stipulated time.
  • To raise invoices for charter hire, freight, bunker reimbursement, and demurrage to charterers or brokers.
  • To assist vessel Operation Superintendent in day-to-day work for smooth vessel operation.
  • To select, appoint, and approve agency's PDA and FDA.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
