We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Operations Director to lead our global client base's vessel performance optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge, analytical prowess, and exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize Vessel Performance: Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot inefficiencies in fuel consumption, engine performance, and auxiliary systems across our global fleet.
- Performance Improvement Initiatives: Conduct detailed investigations, develop action plans, and implement measures to enhance overall vessel efficiency.
- Client Relations: Lead client communications, performance meetings, and monthly vessel performance reviews to ensure alignment with our clients' goals.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with modern technologies, evaluate decarbonization and energy efficiency projects, and plan crew training and operational optimization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced professional looking to drive performance improvements within a global team. We would love to hear from you if you have a strong background in Chief Engineer roles with sailing experience on oil/chemical tankers or gas carriers, and at least 4 years of shore-based experience leading vessel performance functions.
