Leadership Role: Operations Director

As a seasoned executive, you will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our organization. Your primary focus will be on driving growth, implementing business strategies, and ensuring the overall success of our company.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans to achieve performance and growth objectives.
  • Establish policies that promote a positive company culture and vision.
  • Oversee daily operations and lead a team of executives in various departments.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to encourage maximum performance and dedication from employees.
  • Analyse and interpret data to evaluate performance and make informed decisions.
  • Assist in fundraising initiatives and participate in expansion activities.
  • Nurture relationships with partners and vendors while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a focus on operations management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • You should possess strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as experience developing and implementing operational strategies.
  • Familiarity with business process optimization, supply chain management, and logistics is a plus.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills are necessary.
  • Able to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in ship repair & upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics industries is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards is desired.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams is essential.
