Digital Service Sales Consultant

Job Title: Digital Service Sales ConsultantWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Service Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Digital Service Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales pipeline, positioning OpenBlue solution portfolio to existing install-base and new customers to ensure high customer satisfaction index and expand our service business.
About the Role
- This is a customer-facing role where you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- You will educate and encourage our service customers to leverage digital technology and new innovative approaches, positioning Johnson Controls as their partner throughout their digital transformation journey.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present digital transformation roadmaps to customers, defining projects and implementation recommendations that best match their existing environment and meet their expectations.
- Identify, reach, and engage key decision makers and influencers through existing relationships, networking, personal connections, client references, and industry events.
- Develop Digital Service Business strategies, generate new leads, identify and qualify opportunities to Upsell/Cross Sell and generate additional Pull-through Business.
- In case of customer-specific development needs, collaborate with the technical team to define prototypes and proof of concepts.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field such as sales, marketing, or engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and their applications in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
