Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Partnership Manager to drive growth and performance of complex partnership accounts.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical consultant, business advisor, and implementer of partner-facing business plans and related programs.

This role is a catalyst for partners' vision, bringing an exceptional customer success mindset to delivering solutions that leverage Water.org's unique value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned financial institution partners, building trust-based relationships aligned with partners' goals and Water.org's mission;
    • Facilitate regular engagement and collaboration with partner teams, ensuring clear communication, mutual accountability, and ongoing alignment with partnership objectives;
    • Lead the implementation of partner-facing programs, including onboarding, capacity building, product design, marketing support, and impact tracking;
    • Provide technical guidance and advisory support to partners on inclusive financial products and delivery models;
    • Ensure timely issue resolution, performance monitoring, and adaptive management of partnership activities;
    • Maintain high-quality data on partner activities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely updates in internal systems and dashboards.
  • Business Development:
    • Contribute to the expansion of Water.org's reach by identifying new opportunities within existing partnerships and building strategic relationships with key decision-makers;
    • Craft tailored value propositions for potential partners, drawing from Water.org's tools, research, and success stories;
    • Stay informed on financial sector trends and regulatory developments that could influence partner priorities;
    • Represent Water.org at relevant forums, meetings, and industry events to increase visibility and build credibility.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
    • Monitor partner performance against agreed milestones, including disbursement targets and impact metrics;
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports on partnership status, challenges, lessons learned, and contributions to organizational goals;
    • Track and forecast partner-level fund utilization and ensure alignment with grant conditions and donor reporting needs.
  • Information & Advisory Services:
    • Act as a subject matter expert on strategic account management principles and tactics;
    • Provide insights and advisory support to strengthen business decision-making and program outcomes;
    • Collaborate with cross-functional workgroups to drive alignment and shared objectives;
    • Engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
