Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth in the assigned region. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and building strong relationships with key customers. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for the assigned region to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to drive performance and achieve sales objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region through lead generation and market research
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular visits and business reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and support for sales activities
  • Provide regular sales reports and market intelligence to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities that may impact sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Senior: 10-12 years of sales experience, with minimum 5 years of experience in regional or zonal level, preferably from rice / parboiling industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
